Greetings ILT Alumni, Graduate Students, and Friends:

This year, the Institute of Lutheran Theology launched its Alumni & Graduate Association (AGA) which is open to ILT Alumni, Honorary Alumni, and current PhD and DMin students. The mission of the Alumni and Graduate Association is as follows:

1. To be a source of support for ILT, its graduates, its honorary alumni, its students and ultimately all the people that they serve;

2. To provide connection points for pastoral prayer groups, Bible study groups, support groups; ‘

3. To provide opportunities for continuing education and professional development;

4. To provide student scholarships;

5. To support ILT at meetings, conventions, and anywhere ILT is represented.

Presently, there is no membership fee required to join the AGA. That said, we do need financial support in order to be successful in our mission to be a support to pastors and theologians across the Lutheran landscape. As such, we ask you to prayerfully consider making a gift to the AGA as part of “Giving Tuesday” on November 30, 2021. No gift is too small and as the AGA is volunteer-based, 100% of your gift will be used to help the AGA support pastors and theologians so that they may be successful in their ministry to equip the saints of God.

You may give your gift by visiting our website:

If you have any questions about how to support or how to join ILT’s Alumni and Graduate Association, please contact me. In the meantime, I thank you for partnering with us in our mission to strengthen today’s church leaders as they help raise up the church leaders of tomorrow.

In Christ,

Rev. Wendy D. Poch, MDiv
Alumni & Graduate Association Chair
