NALC Pastor’s Retreat

NALC Pastor’s Retreat

Attending the NALC Oklahoma/Texas Pastor’s Retreat

Dr. Leon Miles joined pastors of the Oklahoma/Texas Regional district of the NALC for their annual retreat at the Cedarbrake Retreat Center in Belton, Texas.

The retreat featured Rev. Dr. Amy Little, NALC General Secretary, who spoke on the initiative to support churches in becoming disciple-making communities. In addition to worship and fellowship, the event included mission district business discussions.

Leon contributed to a developing program aimed at empowering lay leaders to engage more actively in their congregations and Christian vocations.

He also appreciated reconnecting with ILT alumni and students and meeting new NALC pastors. Dr. Miles expressed excitement about ILT’s evolving collaboration with NALC.

Special appreciation goes to Pastor Becky Thane and her husband, John Mark, for their generous hospitality and transportation assistance
