Special Invitation From Mount Carmel

We are writing on behalf of our friends at Mount Carmel Ministries in Alexandria, Minnesota to share an invitation worth passing along.

This summer, Mount Carmel’s Family Camp Week 5 (July 13-17) features Dr. Leon Miles, Vice President of Advancement and Dean of ILT’s Christ College, teaching on “Parenting as Calling: Faith, Forgiveness, and Formation.”

Leon’s sessions will cover:
• What Scripture says to parents about loving, disciplining, and forgiving their children
• What it means to bear the cross in parenting
• How to navigate modern challenges, including gender, sexuality, and high school culture today

Join us for four nights of serious Biblical teaching on the shores of Lake Carlos surrounded by families from across our Lutheran network.

For Current Seminarians: you and your immediate family are welcome to attend any week of Family Camp this summer as guests of Mount Carmel, free of charge. This invitation is open to all weeks, not just Week 5, and is Mount Carmel’s way of investing in those preparing for ministry.
